Hi! How do you write the first paragraph of a quote essay with an anonymous quote?

A good way to attribute credit to someone that is anonymous is to simply use the phrase: Someone wise once said.... or It is often stated that.....

Then you can go on to build off of that quote, making certain to put the thesis statement in the final sentence.
