One example of dramatic irony occurs when Count Olaf invites the children to participate in his next theatrical performance..... Violet will be playing a young bride. Olaf does his research and discovers that a wedding on stage is binding and plans to trick her into marraige. Violet, however, suspects his intent and sign the certificate with her other hand..... marriage over.
