Do you believe youth is the only time you can be ''green and carefree''?

I believe that in certain circumstances we can be "green and carefree"..... that we can forget about everything alse but the moment. I do not, however, believe we can hold onto a child's innocence into adulthood.... there are too many lessons to be learned.
