I'm sorry, this is a short-answer forum designed for text specific questions. We are unable to provide students with essays or other writing assignments. In relating the phrase, "all that glitters is not gold", to the novel, The Pearl, you will need to look at the dreams Kino believes the pearl will afford him, as opposed to the nightmares he faces. When Kino finds the pearl, he believes it will better his family, pay for a real wedding, and provide Coyotito with a good education. Sadly, the only thing the pearl gives Kino is danger and heartache. His life would have been happier had he never found it.
