Dora’s Dream that Syvia goes missing like Hava symbolizes the constant fear the family lives in that they will be separated, with Syvia being the most vulnerable. Dora is protective of Syvia throughout their experience, but Hava’s disappearance brings the reality of Syvia being killed to Dora’s mind.
