Who is Tammie from Women and what is their importance?

Tammie is a twenty-three year old, buxom, redhead with what Henry describes as a near-perfect body. She has long hair, drives a red Camaro, and is almost always high on drugs. Tammie meets Henry by cold-calling his apartment and asking to come over. A few days later, the two are involved in sexual relationship based almost entirely on drinking, using drugs, and sexual intercourse. Tammie and Henry's relationship gradually peters out as he loses interest in her, and she begins a series of sexual escapades with a variety of other men, some of them Henry's friends.
