Mindy lives in New York City. She begins corresponding with Henry Chinaski, and after she sends him photographs, he asks her to vacation at his apartment in Los Angeles. Mindy flies out and spends several days with Henry before Lydia breaks into the apartment and beats her. After meeting Lydia, Mindy goes to stay with Bobby and Valerie.
