John Keegan initially thought of Churchill as a relic of a generation gone by. Keegan saw Churchill as a great leader, however, the Capitalist Party and its ideals of capitalism and imperialism to which Churchill belonged was seen by Keegan as something to be put in the past. Keegan believes it is time to move on and leave relics in the past.
