The Seven Rivers Kingdom is the wealthy Nuru kingdom west of Jwahir. It is very fertile, making it more prosperous and more populated than the Okeke lands east of the kingdom. Daib is the military commander of the Nuru army based in the Seven Rivers Kingdom. The kingdom operates as the center of Onyesonwu’s transformative rewriting of the Great Book and is more dangerous than the desert to Onyesonwu and her companions.
