What did Bly steal from Miss Cornelia in the novel, White Tears?

Miss Cornelia owned the only known copy of Shaw’s Graveyard Blues record. She refused to sell it to Bly, as it was the only memento she had of her brother, who never returned to her after going away to Jackson, Mississippi. Bly stole the record from Miss Alberta, thus apparently incurring the curse of Charlie Shaw upon himself.
