What are Roses?

The roses which regularly grow from a mysterious stem on Miel's wrist represent her family's deep and mysterious history with magic. In the same way that Miel does not want the roses to grow from her wrist, nor does she have control of them, associations with magic keep on arising in Miel's lineage whether they want it to or not.
