What information does Zelda keep from Dr. Laird in the novel, When We Were Vikings?

Zelda tries to always be open and honest with Dr. Laird. However, at Gert’s insistence, Zelda does not tell Dr. Laird anything about Toucan, nor about Gert’s involvement with Toucan.
