Reeve from The Voice on the Radio is the actual 'voice' on the radio. It is his radio show about Janie's kidnapping and reuniting with her birth parents that makes a name for him as a radio personality. He continues on with the show despite his knowledge that it will wound Janie to have her story out there.

Reeve is Janie's one time, former boyfriend, who goes away to college. EVentually, not only embarrasing her on the radio, he cheats on her.
