Who is Jane (Janie) Elizabeth Johnson (aka Jennie Spring) from Whatever Happened to Janie? and what is their importance?

Janie (Jennie Spring) is the girl that is kidnapped by Hannah when she is three. Hannah had been brainwashed by a cult and gone from home for a while. She showed back up on her parent's doorstep with Janie in hand and passed her off as her own child.

Janie has been raised by this other family for many years, then one day sees her picture on a milk carton. She is reunited with her birth family, but she doesn't remember them. She longs for her old life back where she's been happy and well off. Finally, unable to cope with the situation, she asks to be returned to the family that raised her.
