How does Katherine describe Port Furlong, Washington in the novel, What Comes After?

Katherine vacationed in Port Furlong as a child and she loved the Northwest. It has surrounded by islands for explorations and has a small town feel to it. Katherine description is: "it has boats and music and old hippies jigging by a fountain" (23).
