What is the setting in the final pages of the novel, West With Giraffes?

The story concludes in the San Diego Zoo, run by the world's first female zoo director, Mrs. Belle Benchley. This setting becomes the true home for the giraffes, Woody, and the Old Man, and is the place where Woody returns after the war to finds closure to the lessons of his journey across America.
