Why did Clara Loomis leave the Oneida Community in the book, Wayward: A Novel?

One of the rules of the Oneida community was that, while the residents were encouraged to engage in sexual intercourse with each other, there should be no monogamous relationships. Clara eventually left the community because she fell in love with a fellow resident named Henry. They left in order to marry each other and reside together in Syracuse.
