In Chapter 2, pages 42 and 43, how do the women in the images appear to men in the images?

In contrast to pages 36 and 37 where the women are generally ignored by men, in the images on pages 42 and 43 the women are posed provocatively and given much attention by the men in the images. Images included on pages 42 and 43 depict the sensual figures of women in ways that are intended to catch the attention of a man.
