Who is Lora from Wasted: A Memoir of Anorexia and Bulimia and what is their importance?

Lora is Marya's roommate during her year at Interlochen. Lora's mother is a well-known eating disorders therapist. Although they are friends, Lora and Marya do not spend much time together outside their dorm room. Lora is a worse insomniac than Marya and the two often spend time talking until early morning.
