Disney's role during war?

Walt Disney contributed to the allied war effort by providing both film and artwork. Canada contracted Disney to create propaganda films, this included The New Spirit, which starred Donald Duck. Disney was also commissioned by the army to produce short cartoons like Donald Gets Drafted and Skytrooper.
