Where does Cross' family seek sanctuary from Craig's threats in the novel, Violets Are Blue?

Cross uses Aunt Tia's house as a refuge for his family when he fears that Craig will seek to kill them. His aunt graciously accepts the family and spoils them, as she has done for Cross all his life.
