Names are symbolic of identity and life course. This is most exemplified by Freya, who chose her own name. Freya going from the name her parents gave her, Matthew, to her chosen name, Freya, is arguably the most important step on Freya's journey to self-love and acceptance–she is unable to find the next spoon and help complete the coven until she changes her name and accepts herself fully as Freya.
