Will Barbee owned a diamondback terrapin farm on the Isle of Hope. Barbee inherited the operation from his father who had seen a market for the terrapins and set up the farm. Barbee explained the farming operation to Mitchell from the breeding operation to the final stages of feeding and packaging the terrapins for sale.
