Who is Cyrus "CyFy" Finch from Unwind and what is their importance?

Cyrus Finch (CyFi) is Lev’s traveling companion. The temporal lobe of another child was transplanted in CyFi’s brain, and as a result, he suffers from sensing the presence and unrest of the original owner of the lobe. Lev and CyFi travel to Joplin, Missouri, where he is able to confront this boy by returning to his hometown.
