The theme of Unwind, by Neal Shusterman, is that life sould be hman life should be valued. Throughout the entire novel the author demonstrates this through Connor's thoughts of storking (the process of leaving an unwanted infant at the doorstep of another individual), the respectful barrial of the Golden Five and the others at the Graveyard, the concept of fighting unwinding, and the Admiral's emotions toward having unwound his own child, Harlan.
