What are Lev's beliefs about storking and tithing and what does this tell you about the way he has been raised?

Lev totally believes in tithing and storking, claiming that they are fully represented and exampled in the bible. For example, the story of Moses in the bullrushes is an example of storking. He believes that by running away he has sinned against God.
