Tyrell

In chapter 7 what is your educated guess about where you are in the story arc/plot map (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution) - explain your thinking. How is the author building the story?

Think of an important event in your book. How would the story have changed if this event had not happened?

Tyrell returns to Bennett to look after his brother and feed him. His mother tells him that she is tired of waiting for his father to get out of prison and take care of her. She tells him that she feels stupid for being loyal to his father when she would be able to find multiple men willing to be with her. This is early in the novel. I think we are at the end of the exposition and moving to the rising action.
