Courtney, Two Way Street, is the main character is this novel. She's a shy and awkward college student. The main bulk of the action takes place between Courtney and her former boyfriend Jordan. They are playing the typical dating games; one trying to make the other jealous, and the other trying not to show how much it hurts. Worse yet, Courtney's parents are making her continue with her plans to use Jordan as her ride back to college after the summer. Throughout the book Courtney comes to a more mature outlook on relationships, and how using people for one's own gain backfires horribly. She learns that honesty is truly the best policy.
