Significance of Lloyd's Dorm

Courtney and Jordan stop off at Middleton on the way to Boston, and Courtney visits Lloyd's dorm room. She is supposed to stay the night here, but she cannot face being near Lloyd when she knows she does not have feelings for him and is still hurting over Jordan.
