Anne of Austria (Twenty Years After) is the queen of France. She is also the mother of King Louis XIV. The queen owes the musketeers her life. They helped her in the years past to get out of a sticky situation. However, she has a short memory, and is wiling to let Mazarin to run the country. She is in love with the cardinal and allows him to manipulate her. In the end, she comes to her senses and thanks the musketeers.
