What is the main conflict in Troilus and Criseyde by Geoffrey Chaucer?

The setting, the siege of Troy, is in itself the major conflict, upon which, the story is based. The other conflict can be found in Troilus' realization that Criseyde is not going to return from the Greek camp. The realization leads him to hopelessness.
