Trash: Stories
What is the narrator point of view in the short-story collection, Trash: Stories?
.
.
The majority of the stories in the collection are told in the first-person point of view. Most of the narrators are similar to Allison herself, as every first-person narrator is a woman. There is only one story that does not fit the pattern of the first-person narrator. Aside from a one-sentence introduction with a first-person point of view, the story "Meanest Woman Ever Left Tennessee" is told from the perspective of Shirley Boatwright -- the mean woman -- and her daughter Mattie.
