What is the author's perspective in the book, Trapped?

The book is written from the perspective of author Marc Aronson. Near the end of the book, Aronson wrote about the process he used to gather information. This included personal interviews with some of the people involved as well as information he found online. Aronson included details of where the reader can find those sources.
