This is certainly a life lesson. Many people, myself included, muddle through life quickly, never stopping to notice the beauty in simple things like nature. It is the simple things that hold most meaning in life. They are readily available to us if we simply open our eyes and minds. Trees, the sky, a deer on the road, a cat on a fence…….these are all simple pleasures. Many people dwell on what we perceive as important things (like wealth and fame) but are actually unimportant or toxic.
