Phillip Goldman is a partner at Tyler Stone, Goldman represents RTG, the firm's second most lucrative client. If Goldman is able to sabotage the Triton/CyberCom deal, his client will acquire CyberCom. Goldman is an opportunist, as well, for he knows that if the Triton acquisition goes sour, Gamble will dump Tyler Stone as its legal representation. Henry Wharton, managing partner of Tyler Stone, will then have lost his most important client and perhaps his top position. This top position will then go to Goldman who will represent the most important client.
