Who is Griffin?

Griffin is the new boy in town to whom Bug is introduced by the librarian. Bug enjoys talking to Griffin because he believes his house is haunted as well. When Griffin stretches and shows his waist above his pants, Bug realizes she wants to look like Griffin does in his clothes instead of the way she looks.
