Importance of Unity

Unity is a space station created by Kira and the seed that symbolizes knowledge, and peace between the Wranaui and humans. Kira creates Unity with the intent to allow anyone who desires to live there and also study the technology of the Old Ones. Additionally, since Itari was clear that the Wranaui had planned to wipe out humanity since the Sundering, Kira felt that location that was not governed by either side and allowed the two to come together would maintain peace for centuries to come.
