To Kill a Mockingbird Why does Tom Robinson help Mayella Ewell? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 10:23 Last updated by anonymous on 12 Sep 22:44
He's helped the Ewells before and so it was not out of the ordinary for him to do so again. Of course, when he walks in and sees that no one is there he begins to understand what Mayella has in mind.
