At the beginning of chapter eight of To Kill a Mockingbird, Mrs. Radley (Boo Radley's mom) died. Scout and Jem decided that it must have been Boo who "had got her at last," but the kids were actually disappointed to hear Atticus's response that Mrs. Radley had dided of natural causes.
