Who is Absyrtus in the novel, This Wicked Fate?

Absyrtus is the son of Hecate and Medea's brother. He was murdered and his body was hacked into six pieces. The plant known as Absyrtus Heart grew from each of the pieces of his body. In this novel, Bri and Circe reunite the six plants, prompting Absyrtus to rise from the ground. He appears only for a few moments before disappearing into the underworld with Hecate. His resurrection clears the way for Marie to live.
