This Poison Heart
How is the house at 307 Old Post Road described in the novel, This Poison Heart?
.
.
The house is described as huge with two living areas and a kitchen downstairs in addition to the large apothecary room. There are four bedrooms upstairs and an additional room in the turret. Most of the furniture is covered with dust cloths when they arrive for the summer. Bri describes the paintings and photographs on the walls, noting that these are her biological relatives that she never met. Bri soon finds two secret rooms in this house. One is hidden behind the fireplace in the bedroom Bri chooses for her own. The other is hidden off the apothecary and has an altar to Medea that includes a photo of Bri as a baby.
