Who is Professor Carrow in the nonfiction book, This Is Going to Hurt?

Professor Carrow is a consultant on the hospital ward that Kay is a part of when he is a registrar. Kay describes Prof. Carrow as "far too important for all that nonsense" on the labor ward (222). When a T.V. crew is filming around the ward, Prof. Carrow feigns care about the activities on the ward, but quickly tells Kay after the cameras are turned off not to call him during the evening. Prof. Carrow is a stark deviation from many of Kay's other colleagues who share similar concerns with Kay in regard to working hours. Prof. Carrow acts as a contrast between Kay and other doctors.
