How do the words of the missionaries impact Okonkwo's son, Nwoye?

Nwoye is moved by the missionary's words. He can relate to the words about people being in darkness and fear. He has felt these same emotions himself. Nwoye does not yet understand the religion, but feels a relief in his soul at the human concepts of Christianity.
