Why does Jeremiah now attend Percy?

Jeremiah attended Brooklyn Tech prior to Percy. Transferring to Percy had been his father’s idea, as he wants the best for his son. Jeremiah also believes his father feels guilty for what he has done to their family. Jeremiah attends Percy to please his father just as he behaves like a gentleman for his mother; he tries hard to make both parents happy.
