What is the purpose of ending the story with the house fire? Why not just end it with the reading of the Teasdale poem?

The house functions as the story's protagonist, and the story's conflict centers on its survival against the forces of nature. Bradbury wants to make the point that nature is more powerful than technology, so the house has to burn.
