How does Peter treat Jeremiah?

Peter tries to speak to Jeremiah as if he were also Black which annoys Jeremiah. Peter clearly likes Jeremiah, as Jeremiah is by far the best player on the team. Although Peter seems to want to get on Jeremiah's good side, everything he says annoys Jeremiah and reveals his white privilege.
