How does Jeremiah feel regarding his new Black teammates?

Jeremiah has a couple other Black teammates, but he does not really fit in with them. The boys are from other poor neighborhoods in New York City. Jeremiah, on the other hand, has traveled the world, and it is learned later on in this section of the story that he comes from an affluent family.
