Jeremiah waits impatiently in another class for the bell to ring, so he can be dismissed to go to Mr. Hazelton’s history class. Miah cannot wait to see Ellie. He notices her sweetness, as well as sadness. He also notices something else in her eyes he cannot quite figure out.
