Why do the guards arrive to ask Cinderella to return to the ball in Chapter Nine?

Soldiers from Snow White's Northern Kingdom are in the ballroom waiting for Cinderella, so they can warn her that the Evil Queen has escaped her dungeon and is on the loose with her magic mirror.
