What does Wishing Spell represent?

The Wishing Spell is symbolic of achieving the desires that lay in one's heart. It is the culmination of items from each of the fairy tale kingdoms combined into one to give the person who found it any wish they want. The original journal writer used it to travel to another world so that he could be with his love. Alex and Conner retrieve the items so that they can get home. Evly steals so that she too might be reunited with her lover who is trapped in the Magic Mirror. Since it had been activated once already, the limit on the spell is that it can only be used once more. This causes a major conflict as the twins and the Evil Queen both race to get all of the pieces.
